“Today this proclamation of the Gospel of Life is especially pressing because of the extraordinary increase and gravity of threats to life of individuals and peoples, especially where life is weak and defenseless. In addition to the ancient scourges of poverty, hunger, endemic diseases, violence and war, new threats are emerging on an alarmingly vast scale.” (EV 3)

St. John Paul II through his written Church Document, Evangelium Vitae (Gospel of Life), proclaimed that there is a great need for us Catholics to proclaim with dauntless fidelity the Gospel of Life. The enemy of God wants to destroy the beauty of faith, family and life by imposing to God’s people the Culture of Death.

This great Saint sounded the trumpet to raise the consciousness of the Church on the sacredness of human life as a basic value rooted in the dignity of man. We are called to choose to live and share Christ and to embrace the Culture of Life.
